Tesla opens a new 8-stall Supercharger in Keremeos, B.C., in the Similkameen Valley
Tesla's charging team posted the new southern B.C. site on Friday afternoon. Here's what's confirmed for drivers in the Similkameen.
Tesla North America announced it on X on the evening of October 29. Tesla's post says "Available in the US", and Tesla hasn't announced a Canadian version.

Tesla has turned its referral program toward Full Self-Driving. In a post on X at 8:48 PM ET on October 29, 2026, Tesla North America wrote: "Refer friends & family to gift them a month of FSD Supervised. Once they subscribe, you'll receive a free month in return (or $99 in Tesla Credits if bought outright)." The post ends with three words that matter for readers here: "Available in the US".
Tesla North America posted the new program on X on the evening of October 29 (Tesla North America on X). An owner shares a referral that gifts a friend or family member a month of FSD (Supervised). If that person then subscribes, the owner who referred them gets a free month, or $99 in Tesla Credits if they bought FSD outright.
The post links to a separate referral program page with the full terms. That page wouldn't load for us, so we're not repeating eligibility limits or caps second-hand. Check Tesla's page or the Tesla app for the fine print.
Tesla North America: "Refer friends & family to gift them a month of FSD Supervised."
Not according to Tesla. The announcement says "Available in the US", and Tesla hasn't announced a Canadian version. Canadian owners can still subscribe to FSD (Supervised), which Tesla Canada lists at $99 a month, and Tesla says it requires "active driver supervision" and doesn't make the car autonomous (Tesla Canada). If Tesla brings the program north, we'll update this story.
The reward is tied to FSD (Supervised) subscriptions, so owners now get something back when a friend signs up for Tesla's driver-assistance software.

Tesla listed the changes in one post late on October 29. It didn't say which cities get the longer hours. Robotaxi still isn't offered in Canada.

The European testing group used Tesla's own factory data, checked by its experts, for the first time. Here's what it measured, how the car did in the cold, and why it's a European result.
